Impac Mortgage Holdings Inc. said Thursday its board authorized the Newport Beach real estate investment trust to repurchase of an additional $5 million of common stock in the open market.
Impac had about 28.8 million shares as of June 30. The company’s stock closed Thursday at $4.38, up 13 cents a share. The stock traded as high as $13.75 last September and as low as $2.75 last October.
