Aliso Viejo-based Fluor Daniel and British engineering firm Amec PLC are jointly pursuing several multimillion-dollar oil and gas engineering and construction projects in the Caspian Sea and Vietnam, a Fluor Daniel official said Wednesday.
The potential value of the contracts ranges from $150 million to several billion dollars, said Charles Sands, senior vice president, oil and gas power at Fluor Daniel.
The alliance has also put in a bid to build a floating production storage offshore vessel for PetroVietnam, Sands said.
Units of Fluor Daniel and Amec also announced a strategic alliance Wednesday to provide services for floating offshore oil and gas projects, including operations and maintenance services.
