DO IT YOURSELF : SEPTEMBER PLANTING LIST
Although this month is usually hot and dry in the garden, it’s time to begin planting fall and winter crops. Wait until the middle of the month to put in some of the more heat-sensitive plants. Regular watering remains critical while the weather is hot. New seedlings and transplants may need watering as much as twice a day.
