OUTLOOK
The Vanguards haven’t won a league title since 1992 and probably won’t challenge this season. “We have big question marks all the way across the board,” Hitchens said. The defense shows some promise, with three key returners--Czaykowski, Lancisero and Vu--leading the way. The offense will feature a sophomore quarterback, Spoonemore, and a running back committee made up of Tousignant, Reyes and Lancisero. The offensive line is green, with only Delgado having any varsity experience.
