I believe that people commenting on the Prop. 5 decision should read the U.S. Constitution, Article 1, Section 8; Article 6, and the federal Indian Gaming Regulatory Act.
They will find that the Indians have been sold a bill of goods by a slick salesman. The only way to get slot machines on reservations is to make them legal everywhere in the state. Do we want that?

Now that the judges have scalped Indian gambling’s Prop. 5 and thumb-nosed us voters on Prop. 187, I suggest we save one step by restricting voting to “judges only,” saving us the time we waste at the ballot box.
