1 Killed in California 33 Collision
A motorist was killed Thursday night in a two-car collision on California 33 in Ventura, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The name of the victim was not released and it was not known whether there were other injuries.
The crash occurred about 8:30 p.m. near the Main Street onramp of the highway’s northbound lanes, a CHP dispatcher said.
The crash forced closure of the onramp and the transition lanes that run from the southbound lanes of the Ventura Freeway onto California 33, the dispatcher said.
