Lisa Leslie was fined $500 for shoving Houston’s Tina Thompson in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals on Monday. Thompson was fined $300 for taunting Leslie before and after the incident, which also resulted in both players being ejected. . . . Game 2 of the championship finals is Saturday at Houston’s Compaq Center. If necessary, Game 3 is Sunday, also at Houston. . . . The Sparks’ Orlando Woolridge came in third in coach-of-the-year voting with 11 votes, behind Houston’s Van Chancellor, who had 18, and Sacramento’s Sonny Allen, who had 17. . . . A WNBA all-star team will play an exhibition against the U.S. Olympic team at Hartford, Conn., Oct. 2.
