McCain Called Hot-Tempered
PHOENIX — The largest newspaper in John McCain’s home state is questioning whether the Republican senator has the temperament to be president.
The Arizona Republic, in an editorial in today’s editions, criticizes McCain for a “volcanic†temper it says he has unleashed on other politicians, reporters and even the public.
“If McCain is truly a serious contender for the presidency, it is time the rest of the nation learned about the John McCain we know in Arizona,†the newspaper says in the editorial. “There is also reason to seriously question whether he has temperament, and the political approach and skills, we want in the next president.â€
McCain spokesman Dan Schnur on Saturday did not deny that his boss gets angry, adding that
