I appreciated Greg Braxton’s article on Lamont Dozier, who contributed so much to the soul sounds of the 1960s and ‘70s (“How Sweet It Was,” Oct. 24).
But a reference to the song “Only You” being recorded by the Drifters was an amazing gaffe. It was a mega-hit by the Platters, their first of many.
