Service Celebrates Catholic-Lutheran Pact
Bishop Tod Brown of the Diocese of Orange and Murray Finck, bishop of the Pacifica Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, will conduct a joint service Sunday at Holy Family Cathedral in Orange.
The service, at 7:30 p.m. is to mark the signing of a historic Roman Catholic-Lutheran agreement on a point of theology that has divided the two faiths for centuries.
The cathedral is at 566 S. Glassell St. in Orange.
