Dollas Scores as Ice Dogs Win

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Bobby Dollas got his first goal as an Ice Dog, and Scott Thomas added two late in the third period in a 3-1 victory over the Detroit Vipers before 5,582 at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
The Ice Dogs, on a two-man advantage when Detroit’s Paul Mara was called for an illegal stick at 17:49 of the third period, scored the deciding goal at 18:17 when Thomas tipped in a Mike Crowley blast from the point.
Thomas also scored an empty-net goal at 19:25.
