MISSION VIEJO
The Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center will host an emergency preparedness day on Wednesday. The exposition will help teach residents how they can best prepare for emergency situations and let them know what services would be available to them in the event of a disaster.
The Red Cross, the Orange County Fire Authority and a number of other organizations will give presentations specifically aimed at Mission Viejo’s older community.
The center will also be distributing and accepting applications for the Emergency Watch Registry Program, which maintains a list of community residents who may need special assistance in an emergency.
