Knott’s Scary Farm will be making an attempt to break the world record for the longest hearse procession Saturday. The current record is 33 hearses.
Retired hearse and flower car owners need to get their vehicles out of the garage or storage and assemble them at 2 p.m. for the 1.1-mile procession that will end at the park. Participants will receive two free event admissions valid for Halloween Haunt that day only.
Limousines do not qualify and drivers must call (714) 220-5129 before Friday for details.
The 27th Halloween Haunt is scheduled for Friday to Sunday, Oct. 14 to 17, Oct. 21 to 24 and Oct. 27 to 31.
