Sanwa Promotes Ad Exec to Senior VP
Madeline D. Sell has been promoted to senior vice president and manager of corporate communications and marketing, a new position, at Sanwa Bank California. Sell, who had been manager of advertising, marketing and sales promotion, will continue to be responsible for advertising and marketing the bank’s image and products. In addition, she will manage the Los Angeles-based bank’s charitable contributions budget.
* The American Film Marketing Assn. has elected Kathy Morgan president of the 142-member trade association, which represents the largest group of independent film and TV companies in the entertainment industry. The job has a two-year term. Morgan is chairwoman of Los Angeles-based Kathy Morgan International, which specializes in international motion picture sales and distribution.
* Professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers said Adam Handler has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as a principal and leader of its real estate services practice for Southern California. Handler was previously a tax partner with Sidley & Austin.
