Santa Paula 20, Oak Park 7--Jacob Macias caught a 27-yard touchdown pass from Chad Metelak with 1:40 remaining to seal the Cardinals’ victory at Oak Park.
Metelak threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Mark Robago with 8:27 to play for a 12-7 lead. Metelak completed six of 16 passes for 99 yards.
Santa Paula (3-1) opened the scoring on the third play from scrimmage on a 56-yard touchdown run by Xavier Ramirez.
Oak Park (2-2) took the lead in the first quarter on a six-yard touchdown pass from Nate Elder to Eric Testan. Monte McNair added the point-after kick and the Eagles led, 7-6, at the half.
Ramirez rushed for 95 yards in 11 carries. Morgan Montoya ran for 64 yards in 11 carries.
