Crescenta Valley 21, La Canada 7--Despite losing two fumbles, Wes Jones rushed for 102 yards and three touchdowns in 15 carries for the Falcons (3-1) at Glendale High.
Jones scored on runs of two, five and nine yards in the second and third quarters.
Scott Vossmeyer completed 14 of 25 passes for 217 yards for Crescenta Valley. Steve Carballo had five catches for 89 yards and Jason Burkhart had four catches for 44 yards.
La Canada (1-3) scored its only touchdown following an interception by Pat Perrigue, setting up a one-yard run by Chet Johnson-Blasucci, who finished with 169 yards in 29 carries.
