Software Developer Forms Alliance With TouchVision

Pacific Softworks Inc. in Newbury Park, a developer of embedded Internet and Web software, has formed an alliance with TouchVision Inc., which develops Internet-enabled kiosks.

As part of the agreement, the two companies will collaborate to develop and market a line of Internet kiosks that will incorporate Pacific Softworks’ Web Pilot Micro Browser. The new kiosks will support wired and wireless connectivity to the Internet.

TouchVision, based in Seal Beach, will make products using Pacific Softworks’ technology for demonstrations, trade shows and other marketing programs. Pacific Softworks will provide TouchVision with a worldwide license for technology developed under the agreement.
