MedicineNet to Sell 50% to Texas Firm
MedicineNet.com, a privately held Internet provider of proprietary health care information, said Monday that it has signed a letter of intent to sell 50% of the company to a Texas company. Terms were not provided.
MedicineNet in Irvine and Walsh Distribution Inc. in Texarkana will create a new Web site, HealthCareAmerica.com, to provide total e-commerce capabilities for community pharmacies that include custom Web sites, online order fulfillment and health and medical content.
