LOS ALAMITOS
Even though the exhibition for the Los Alamitos annual amateur photography contest is months away, now is a good time to start taking pictures, develop them and have them mounted.
Shutterbugs of all ages are invited to submit up to five color or black-and-white photographs taken with a 35mm or a point-and-shoot camera. The prints should be no larger than 8-by-10 inches and must be individually mounted. Participants can enter in either the amateur division, divided by subject and age, or the masters category. The deadline to submit photos is March 10. All will be displayed at the Community Center, 10911 Oak St.
Information: (562) 430-1073.
