The City Council will consider donating $4,500 in grants and contributions to a number of local nonprofit organizations at Tuesday night’s meeting.
The item was added at the request of Mayor Ruby L. Netzley, who serves as a board member for one of the main organizations that would benefit should the contributions be approved.
The proposal was originally slated to be discussed at the Oct. 26 meeting but was tabled due to time constraints.
