BEAUMONT--A carnival and live music will be highlights of the Cherry Festival, Thursday through next Sunday, June 3-6. On Saturday, there will be a cherry pancake breakfast at 6:30 a.m. ($3.50 adults, $2 ages 12 and under) and a parade at 10 a.m. Stewart Park, 8th and Orange streets. PATTERSON--The Apricot Fiesta will kick off the apricot season in this Central Valley town, next Saturday and Sunday, June 5-6. Arts and crafts, entertainment and apricot delicacies will fill the town’s Center Plaza. Events Saturday include a parade at 11 a.m. and fireworks at dusk. Free. (209) 892-3118.
SUTTER--Sutter Buttes Day begins next Saturday, June 5, with a parade down Acacia Street at 10 a.m. Game booths, live music, a barbecue, swimming and baseball games follow at Sutter Youth Complex, Butte House Road and Acacia Street. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free. (530) 755-1391.

GLENNVILLE--Get out your western duds for the Glennville Round-up next weekend. On Saturday, there will be jackpot roping, free to spectators, 10 a.m.-dusk, followed by a western dance, 9 p.m.-1 a.m. ($5). A parade at 10 a.m. will kick off events Sunday, followed by a deep-pit barbecue ($7; $4 ages 12 and under).
