UCLA Lands Transfer Hamill

Catcher Ryan Hamill, a starter at Nevada Las Vegas the last two seasons from Chaminade High, will transfer to UCLA.
“I’m ready to get going,” Hamill said.
Hamill, granted a release from his UNLV scholarship, also was interested in Rice.
Hamill batted .324 with eight home runs and 41 runs batted in for UNLV this season. He has hit 24 home runs in two seasons.
