Garden Grove (17-1) got some revenge in beating Alhambra Keppel, 13-6, in the Southern Section badminton semifinals, denying Keppel (16-4) a spot in the finals for the first time this decade.
The victory meant a lot to the Argonauts, who lost last year’s championship to Keppel, 10-9.
Garden Grove will face top-seeded Villa Park (18-0) on Tuesday in the finals at the Orange County Badminton Club.
