For the first time in nearly 40 years, commercial entries will be allowed in the annual Corn Festival Parade in August. Dave Collins, parade chairman, said the move is one of several things organizers are trying to do to draw more people to the event. The La Habra Lions Club, a parade sponsor, hopes the action will attract better floats and more unusual acts.
