School Boards Assn. Elects New Officials

The Ventura County School Boards Assn. elected new officers to its executive board last week. Each of the officers will serve a one-year term.
The new officers are: Moorpark board President David Pollock as president, Ventura trustee John Walker as first vice president, Conejo Valley trustee Timothy Stephens as second vice president, Ojai board President Tim Peddicord as treasurer, and Oxnard Elementary School District trustee Susan Alvarez as secretary.
Other members of the executive board include county schools Supt. Chuck Weis, Pleasant Valley board President Val Rains, county trustee Janet Lindgren, Las Virgenes trustee Judy Jordan, Conejo Valley trustee Dolores Didio, and Ocean View board President Paul Chatman.
The association represents 113 school board members in 21 school districts, one community college district and the county Board of Education.
