* “How to Obtain Financing,” a workshop by the Gold Coast Small Business Development Center, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday at 5700 Ralston St., Suite 310, Ventura. Topics will include traditional and nontraditional sources of funding, SBA loan programs, bank criteria for approving loans and the basics of financial management.
