Parents, students and staff of Carl H. Hankey Elementary will celebrate the school’s 20th anniversary Thursday. The anniversary party at 1:30 p.m. will be open to the public and will feature performances by students from each grade, a school biography, alumni acknowledgments and refreshments. In addition, a tile wall will be dedicated in honor of the school’s birthday. The wall is made of ceramic tiles painted or purchased by Hankey students, staff, parents and alumni.
