The Orange County Red Cross is offering a free disaster preparedness class Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Cypress Church, 6143 Ball Road. Participants will learn how to prepare for and how to cope with major disasters such as earthquakes, fires, floods and potential Y2K problems. The Red Cross will also provide an information table where residents can buy first aid books and first aid kits.
