Mercury Air Group Inc., an L.A.-based provider of aviation petroleum products and other services, appointed J.R. Bouchard to the position of president of the company’s subsidiary, Mercury Air Cargo Inc. Bouchard has been serving as acting president of the unit. Before joining Mercury, Bouchard was president and owner of Excel Cargo Inc., a Canadian firm acquired by Mercury Air Group in 1997.
