The City Council tonight will consider accepting state grants to improve the Flower Street and Pacific Electric bicycle trails. The city submitted a grant application in March, and the state Department of Parks and Recreation is set to grant $20,000 for the Flower Street trail and $50,000 for Pacific Electric. The Recreation and Community Services Agency will use the funds to resurface parts of the trails. The council meets at 6 p.m. in the Police Community Room, 60 Civic Center Plaza. Information: (714) 647-5200.
