A vacant Kmart store at El Toro Road and Rockfield Boulevard, long considered an eyesore, may soon reopen or be sold. City officials said they have been approached by developers interested in the building, which sits in a largely vacant shopping center. Kmart closed the store in 1995 and opened stores in Aliso Viejo and Mission Viejo--but the latter one closed shortly after its opening.
