Cinerama Lived in L.A.

If memory serves, Kim Murphy erred in obliterating a mid-century Los Angeles presence for Cinerama in her interesting article about Paul Allen’s rebuilding of the Cinerama house in Seattle (“Where Retro and Future Meet,” April 23).
Didn’t the old original Cinerama films run throughout the 1950s in all their cost-ineffective visual glory at the old Warner Theater in Hollywood, at Hollywood Boulevard and Wilcox Avenue?
