Thousand Oaks 5, Newbury Park 4--Second baseman Adam Leavitt hit a two-out, run-scoring single in the bottom of the 10th inning to clinch the Marmonte League championship for host Thousand Oaks (18-5, 10-2).

Chris Cordeiro (6-2) pitched the final six innings for the Lancers, who saw 156 pitches in nine innings from Newbury Park (13-12, 6-5) starter Tyler Johnson.

Billy Lockin had two doubles for Thousand Oaks.

Agoura 14, Moorpark 11--Brian Ashford’s three-run home run highlighted a 10-run sixth-inning for Agoura (8-14, 2-9) in a Marmonte League game at Moorpark.

Taylor Slimak had four hits and two runs batted in for Moorpark (12-12, 4-7).

Quartz Hill 23, Littlerock 12--Richmond McMurray had two home runs and five RBIs for host Quartz Hill (9-14, 7-7) in a Golden League game.

McMurray had a three-run homer in the second inning and a two-run blast in a 10-run fourth. Teammate Travis Allen had a single, double and his third home run.

Mike Arvizo had a grand slam in the fifth inning for Littlerock (3-11, 6-14).

Oxnard 9, Channel Islands 2--Matt Merricks (6-1) allowed two hits and struck out 13 for Oxnard (11-10-1, 6-5) in a Pacific View League game.

Merricks hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning.

Catcher John Fleener had a two-run home run and four RBIs for Oxnard, which qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 1973.

SOFTBALL

Chaminade 9-10, Flintridge Sacred Heart 0-0--Maureen LeCocq had five hits, five RBIs and scored four runs in a Mission League doubleheader at Chaminade Middle School.

In the first game, LeCocq (18-2) pitched a two-hitter and struck out seven to record her 16th shutout.

Lindsey Weinstein had six hits in the two games.

Chaminade (20-6-1, 10-0), ranked No. 2 in the region by The Times, has won 20 consecutive league games.

Alemany 7, Louisville 1--Meghann Reiss drove in two runs with a double in a Mission League game at Tarzana Park.

Alemany (10-13, 4-6) scored five runs in the first inning.

Paraclete 26, Pasadena Marshall 0--Margo Horner had a home run, a triple and five RBIs, and the Spirits won their first Alpha League title at Jane Reynolds Park in Lancaster.

Jackie Kolesar had five hits and five RBIs for Paraclete (18-8, 5-1), which won its 21st consecutive league championship.

The Spirits had won 20 consecutive High Desert League titles.

Providence 10, Viewpoint 0--Jessica Franco (2-0) pitched a two-hitter and struck out nine in a Liberty League game at Olive Park in Burbank.

Carly Cabrera drove in two runs and Franco had one RBI.

Providence is 19-2, 9-0 in league play.
