Chuck Jones, famous for his development of Bugs Bunny and other Warner Bros. cartoons, will receive an honorary doctor of fine arts degree from the Art Institute of Southern California at its 1999 graduation ceremonies Saturday. Jones, 86, who made more than 300 animated short films during his career, now serves as a professor emeritus and instructor in the classical animation program at the institute.
