The Whittier Area Genealogical Society invites La Habra residents to its monthly meeting Saturday for a discussion on how to interview relatives and write a family history. Guest speaker Gary Shumway, a Cal State Fullerton history professor, will lead the discussion, which will be held at the Masonic Lodge, 12001 Beverly Blvd., Whittier. Along with the main speaker, there will be classes discussing immigration at 10 a.m. and family trees at 11 a.m. The events are free. Information: (562) 943-4617 or (562) 907-9112.
