Your fine article on the procedures for applying for U.S. passports (“Getting a Passport,” April 18) failed to mention that a few libraries now also serve as passport application acceptance centers.
At the Azusa City Library, where I work, an appointment is not necessary; it’s first come, first served. Travelers may call the Azusa service at (626) 812-5156 to listen to our passport recording or call the Reference Desk at (626) 812-5268 with their additional questions.
