Former Bullfrog coach and player Brad McCaughey has rejoined the team as its coach and vice president of operations, and Jim Thomson, who was scheduled to coach the Roller Hockey International team, has been moved to the front office, club president Bob Elder announced Friday.
McCaughey, who led the team to titles as a player (1993) and as a coach (1997), was reassigned to the Bullfrogs by the league, which owns his contract.
Thomson, who was hired in February, will become general manager of the Bullfrogs and a vice president of Pacific Sports Hockey Group, the team’s parent company.
Elder also said he has signed a deal with radio station KORG (AM 1190) to broadcast 19 games.
