TONIGHT at Kansas City 5:30 PDT, Channel 52 (KVEA)

* Site--Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City.

* Radio--KRLA (1110), KTNQ (1020, Spanish).

* Records--Galaxy 4-3, Wizards 0-7.

* Record vs. Wizards (1998)--4-0.

* Update--The game matches the two worst offenses in the league. The Galaxy is scoring only 0.57 of a goal a game after setting the league record with 85 goals--a 2.66 average--last season. The defense, however, is doing well, especially goalkeeper Kevin Hartman, whose shutout streak stands at 251 minutes, third-longest in Major League Soccer this season. The Wizards, with such former U.S. national team players as Alexi Lalas, Preki and Chris Henderson, have yet to come together as a team. Preki, in fact, is in the midst of the longest scoring drought of his career at 10 games. Tuesday, the Wizards waived forward Paul Wright, who had scored 11 goals and had 13 assists in 83 MLS games. On Wednesday, they traded midfielder Ryan Tinsley to the Chicago Fire for defender Jesse Van Saun and a first-round pick in the 2000 supplemental draft. Van Saun, 23, helped St. John’s win the 1996 NCAA Division I championship.
