The Times Orange County publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following communities released incident reports Wednesday:
BUENA PARK
* Franklin at Western: A man who was shot in the head during an argument with a group of men at 5:21 p.m. Sunday died Monday. His two brothers were arrested in connection with the death.
DANA POINT
* Doheny Park Road: A robbery alarm in the 33000 block was triggered at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday.
* Pacific Coast Highway: A robbery alarm in the 3400 block was triggered at 8:08 a.m. Tuesday.
FOUNTAIN VALLEY
* Cedar Circle: Two men tried to steal a car parked in the 16600 block at 5:04 a.m. Friday. The owner scared them away just as they had disassembled the steering console. The men fled the scene in a gray car.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Gothard Street: Two girls saw a man in the women’s restroom by the basketball courts at Oceanview High School in the 17000 block at 5:02 p.m. Saturday.
LAGUNA BEACH
* Summit Drive: A man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in the 800 block after being involved in a car accident at 3:39 a.m. Wednesday. No one was injured in the accident.
LAGUNA HILLS
* Caminito Basilio: A resident scared off a young man attempting to break into a vacant residence in the 23000 block at 7 p.m. Monday.
* La Paz Road: A Chevy Blazer was broken into in the Holiday Inn parking lot in the 25000 block, and several personal items were stolen; reported at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday.
* South Pointe Drive: Telephone circuit boards were stolen from a business in the 23000 block; reported at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday.
* Woolwich Street: The rear window of a vehicle was reported shattered in the 25000 block at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday.
* Westridge Lane: The rear window of a vehicle was reported smashed in the 27000 block at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.
LAGUNA WOODS
* Bahia Blanca West: Sterling silverware was reported stolen from a residence in the 3000 block at 3:30 p.m. Monday.
LA HABRA
* West Whittier Boulevard: Report of an auto accident in the 1200 block Wednesday afternoon. Police said the driver of a 1985 Toyota Corolla parked his car in neutral in the parking lot of a Ralphs supermarket and didn’t set the parking brake; the car rolled into the street and struck a white 1985 Toyota Corolla. The second driver, who was not injured, was heading westbound when the accident occurred. Damage is estimated to be less than $1,000 to his car.
LAKE FOREST
* Jeronimo Road: Report of a suspicious person in the 25000 block at 12:42 p.m. Saturday.
* Lake Forest Drive at Muirlands Boulevard: Report of a suspicious person at 1:53 a.m. Saturday.
LA PALMA
* Marlin Circle: A trash-can fire of unknown origin was reported in the 6800 block at 2 a.m. Wednesday.
MISSION VIEJO
* Jeronimo Road at Alicia Parkway: Deputies stopped a driver for being on the center divider at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday. The driver was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol and booked into the Orange County Jail.
* Ridgeway: Gunshots were heard in the 23000 block at 10:06 p.m. Sunday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* 41st Street: Four men were arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property during a weekend crime spree. They were arrested Tuesday in the 200 block. Police said the men broke into at least three garages, stole one car, an ATM card, golf clubs and a gun.
* 39th Street: Report of a residential burglary in the 400 block at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday. Someone had apparently entered through an unlocked window; it was unknown what was stolen.
PLACENTIA
* Yorba Linda Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 100 block at 6:48 p.m. Tuesday.
* Angelina Drive: An assault and battery was reported in the 100 block at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.
* Chapman Avenue: A grand theft was reported in the 200 block at 4:39 p.m. Tuesday.
SAN CLEMENTE
* Calle Grande Vista: A robbery alarm in the 300 block was triggered at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday.
* Avenida Pico: A robbery alarm in the 800 block was triggered at 3:22 p.m. Tuesday.
* Calle Sombra: A robbery alarm in the 1000 block was triggered at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
* Golf Club Drive: A robbery alarm in the 3000 block was triggered at 4:53 p.m. Tuesday.
* Via San Vincente: A robbery alarm in the 31000 block was triggered at 1:08 p.m. Tuesday.
STANTON
* Western Avenue: Report of a burglary with an audible alarm in the 11000 block at 7:38 p.m. Tuesday.
* Mitchell Drive: A burglary with an audible alarm was reported in the 10000 block at 5:24 p.m. Tuesday.
VILLA PARK
* Wanda Road at Santiago Boulevard: Report of a traffic accident with unknown injuries at 5:01 p.m. Sunday.
* Serrano Avenue at Santiago Boulevard: Report of a traffic accident with no injuries at 7:56 a.m. Friday.
YORBA LINDA
* Herbshey Circle: A father rescued his daughter from a near-drowning at a neighborhood pool at 5:58 p.m. Wednesday. The 6-year-old fell into the deep end of the pool; her father dove in and pulled her out. She wasn’t breathing, and the father performed CPR and revived her. Paramedics transported the girl to Placentia Linda Hospital; she is expected to survive.
* Redwood Street: A petty theft was reported in the 5400 block at 3:12 p.m. Saturday; and another petty theft was reported in the same block at 3:14 p.m., also on Saturday.
* Lesa Place: A petty theft was reported in the 4700 block at 8:23 a.m. Friday.
* Ben Nevis Way: A burglary was reported in the 27000 block at 11:36 a.m. Friday.
Authorities from the following communities did not release incident reports Wednesday: Anaheim, Brea, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Irvine, Laguna Niguel, Los Alamitos, Orange, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin, Villa Park and Westminster.
