The City Council tonight will discuss whether to place a traffic signal at the intersection of New River Road and Avenida Adobe because of an increase in the number of accidents there. A traffic study was conducted in June 1998, after a resident complained that accidents at the intersection, where cars often stop to make a left turn into a supermarket parking lot, were on the rise. If the plan is approved, the city will spend an estimated $110,000 to install a signal. The council meets at 6:30 p.m. at 4845 Casa Loma Ave. Information: (714) 961-7150.
