Gerry Aust, principal at C.E. Utt Middle School, has been named principal at Columbus Tustin Middle School. He will replace Adele Heuer, recently named principal of Pioneer Middle School, which will open this fall. Ron Richardson, Tustin Ranch Elementary School principal, will become the principal at Utt. Jim Turner, a retired educator and longtime principal, will serve as interim principal at Columbus Tustin through June. Aust has worked in the school district for 36 years.
