LAKE FOREST

The city has been honored for excellence in accounting and financial reporting. The Achievement of Excellence, the highest honor given by the Government Finance Officers Assn. of the United States and Canada, was presented to David A. Bass, director of finance. The city designated him as the person primarily responsible for preparing its comprehensive annual financial report. The association is a nonprofit professional group serving government finance workers.
