Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit by Truck

A man was hit by a big-rig truck and killed while crossing Knott Avenue in Garden Grove, authorities said Saturday.
The Orange County sheriff’s-coroner’s office identified the pedestrian as Brian Kelly Gray, 43, who had no permanent address but frequented Garden Grove.
Gray was not in a crosswalk when he was hit at 9:18 p.m. Friday at the intersection with Stanford Avenue, Garden Grove police said.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not cited.
