The city holds its annual Spring Eggstravaganza at Hart Park on Saturday, starting at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast. Games and snack booths will be open from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Opening ceremonies start at 10 a.m., with several egg hunts for children 12 years and younger running from 10:05 to 11 a.m.
The Kiwanis Club of Orange Suburbia will offer the pancake breakfast until 11 a.m. at the park, on Glassell Street near the Garden Grove Freeway. Fees of $3 for adults and $2 for children will help fund youth programs in the city. All other activities are free, except for a $3 charge to those who want their picture taken with the Easter bunny.
