Parents should register soon if their children want to attend “Spring Camp” at the city’s community center next week. The camp includes games, stories, crafts and outdoor activities for youngsters 5 to 12.
The city is offering a range of options, from a half day for $8 per child to a full day for $15. The full week, with extended care, costs $80 per child. Split sessions run from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Extended care runs from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Limited registration for the camp, which runs Monday through Friday, is first-come, first-served. To register, stop by the center at 10911 Oak St. or call (562) 430-1073.
