BREA
City staff is reviewing the completed drawings for Brea’s first skateboard park and plans to present them to the City Council on April 20. If approved, the city will take public bids, with park completion targeted for the end of summer, said Karen Haluza, project coordinator. The project’s proposed location is at the south end of Arovista Park. The city began examining the idea for a park in December 1997 as a way to provide a safe and attractive skating area for youths.
