Officials at the Mission Viejo Mall, which is undergoing an extensive renovation, said Monday the mall is taking a new name: the Shops at Mission Viejo.
The fresh moniker is intended to reflect the “casual elegance” of the center’s new mix of merchants and its architectural style, according to a statement issued by Simon Property Group, the mall’s owner.
The renovation, which includes the addition of Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue stores, is expected to be completed this fall.
