Bunny Hopping to Town for Festival
VENTURA — The Easter Bunny will be on hand next March 27 for Cottontail Canyon Day.
The annual event, held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Arroyo Verde Park, will feature egg hunts, magicians, marionettes, jugglers and craft-making.
The egg hunts are free but registration is required, beginning at 9:30 a.m. the day of the event. Participants may also preregister for $12, also receiving a T-shirt and goody bag. The city’s Community Services Department will accept preregistrations until Friday at 658-4726.
Visitors are encouraged to park in Ventura College’s Loma Vista parking lot and use the free shuttle to the park. Parking will not be allowed in Arroyo Verde Park.
The Community Services Department, the Buenaventura Medical Group, Longs Drugs and KBBY 95.1 FM are sponsoring Cottontail Canyon Day.
