THIS WEEK
Women’s tennis: The Anteaters, who stopped a four-match losing streak with a 5-4 victory over Penn State last week, will host the UCI Spring Invitational starting Saturday. The 12-team tournament includes 29th-ranked Colorado, 75th-ranked Oregon, Cal State Northridge, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, San Jose State and Santa Clara. The final is next Tuesday.
Sophomore No. 1 singles player Darian Chappell has won her last three matches and with Jonni Seymour clinched the victory over Penn State with an 8-6 win.
Track and field: The Anteaters will be at Sacramento State for a four-way meet against California, UCLA and Washington. The meet, hosted by Cal, was moved to Sacramento because the Golden Bears’ track is being renovated.
