Former University of Minnesota player Courtney James has denied that a former school staffer wrote papers for him while he was a student. James made the denial in a story published in the Minneapolis Star Tribune. His account contrasted with other recent reports about allegations from Jan Gangelhoff, a former secretary in the university’s academic counseling unit, who has said she did course work for at least 20 current and former Gopher basketball players.
